  • Sea turbines are more of a sea creature grater than energy provider. Tidal pumps are far better and there one in the pipeline between Dunnet Bay and Sinclair Bay in north Scotland . With the Pentland firth in between to provide the tidal height difference needed. It a system of two float chambers ( one at each end ) and the generating station on land in between . Due to the tidal differences it will provide continuous electricity ,all day every day .

  • I think the marine mammals would get used to the noise and come closer to the turbines over time and risk hurt themselves. The sonar system would be useless, and as animals come close more frequently the system would shut down the turbines for the safety of the animals which would hinder the electric generation process. Encapsulating the turbine with a cage wouldn't be a good solution as well. That's a hard task indeed.

You have got to be kidding me!! How much does it cost to dig coal or oil or uranium --- ALL -- of which harm our environment! But tides don't (climate change, king tides??) They just happen everyday, all we have to do is harvest that energy! Duh! I've even thought of having waves, pump and compress air for energy! Two men, one in australia and one in france were developing air driven engines! Boats could use them like gas stations to run their air driven boats! Talking about eco friendly😁🤷why not?!?

  • We live in cold times on Vimeo Biden’s infrastructure fraudulent bill is mortally wounded with Humongous SUBSIDIES for the stupid Green Deal. Clean (?) INTERMITTENT 17% energies floating on the shity Climate Change Dogma. If there is a systemic deficit in urban mobility, it is Public Mobility! ... which they call “TRANSIT” Without any valid analysis Biden allocates 85 billion to be spent on the Permanent Bankrupted Public Transport Systems (Transit represents less than 5% of daily trips person miles made in the entire nation... In order for the Solar and Wind Intermittent Energies to appear in the graphs, it is added to the Bioenergy and “others” ... otherwise, it would be impossible to include it ... they do the same with all "clean" energies, they stir it up with BIOFUELS, which are nothing other than burning trees, garbage. plastics, in short, everything with a higher CARBON content! ... Just because it sounds “politically correct” to refer to them as BIO-FUELS!!! So WE are paying for the electric automobile's distribution energy grid based on GAS, COAL, AND NUCLEAR !! Since you people are very stupid and lazy to think, much less analyze and do a little basic math ... it is impossible for the Exceptionalistas “Freedom Fighters” citizens of this USA to realize the level of bullshit that prevails on the government!!! For electric cars (Tesla Ford and GM) $ 174 billion equates to an average subsidy for 23’000,000 electric Teslas at $ 7,500 per car. Problem… in the US there are currently 276 million vehicles registered in 2019. That is, this idiot is subsidizing with money from 91.4% of fossil fuel car owner’s tax money to the other 8.4% of electric vehicles hardly the majority of the modes of transportation in 2030. When THE ONLY THING THAT THE ELECTRIC VEHICLES DO not NEED ARE SUBSIDIES ... THEY ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARS TO BUY AND MAINTAIN (TODAY THEY ARE THE BEST POLITICALLY CORRECT! BUSINESS .... Electric vehicles today are for people with higher income ... A feel-good deal, kind of going to church, confess and eat the body of Christ (cannibalism)!!! Just to come out of church feeling purified and in hand with GOD!!! Son ... you are no longer the PROBLEM ... you are THE SOLUTION!!!! (Greta Thunderbird) In this first installment 201 thousand million dollars …GO TO CLIMATE CHANGE Stupidity…. Clean Intelligent Sustainable Economical Energies Intermittent… Bullshit!! Ask yourself, are YOU in an existential CLIMATE CRISIS? We DO have control of the climate planetary knob! We can stop the variability of the planet's climate. And why not...reach the goal of UNCHANGED CLIMATE!

The "green" crowd (and its many fakers) fails to understand that dense energy sources like nuclear are a lot greener (if done right) than turning vast tracts of nature into industrial parks. falseprogress.home.blog/2016/11/03/windschmerz-the-wind-energy-landscape-holocaust/

  • Out of all the possible ways to build a hydroelectric dam, the tidal method has the least potential energy normal hydroelectric dams hold back an artificial lake several thousand feet above sea level. not only are those lakes able to be whatever depth the surrounding mountains allow for, with more depth equaling more water pressure through the turbine, The water can even be captured several times on its long journey to the ocean. When you use the tidal method, you're only able to take advantage of about 4 feet of height difference. When it comes to head pressure, surface area doesn't matter, only depth. You could make the area of captured water larger and add more turbines, but you can't make an individual turbine turn more efficiently just by widening the area. On the other hand, you're not limited by the amount of rain and snowfall since the tides will continue coming in and out all year no matter what.

Solar cells under snow, frozen windturbines when one need them most, will always give false “outcomes”, but “brings” a happy few a LOT of money! In Paris accord the shares of fake “solutions” in the rest of the world is in top one percent hands. They “catch” the money in african and Asian nations where they have the word “tax” not even in they’re dictionary’s! They “catch” the EU and USA tax money in taxfree country’s, and they’re Troyan horse climate change is a money laundering scheme for the very rich ONLY! It will never replace traditional processes! • Eyeballing this problem, I'd place my bets on an onshore turbine powered by switched compressed air driven by the surging of the water in both directions. The air can be made to keep moving in one direction through the turbine with a simple switching valve and, with suitable barriers in the loop, the corrosive salt water could be kept well away from the machinery.

  • Whenever you want to give an example of the catastrophes that illiterate scientists have brought to the world, you should mention wind and hydro power plants. Yes I know they are clean energies but ...! Scientists have been aware of all the basic sciences, but in practice they have used them upside down. Their mistakes have caused them to waste more than half of the world's wealth and destroy beautiful nature. This catastrophe has been going on for more than a hundred years, and unfortunately, they are still proud of them and even preach about these catastrophes. The funniest part is that they are installing wind farms in the seas to take advantage of their 20% efficiency. They still do not know that they have to move wind farms in to the deep of water. They do not know anything about the new clean energy plant method that works based on a new scientific formula in physics. So far they have not heard anything about my new invention from the German Patent Office to be surprised. Yes they do not know anything about start this new green industrial revolution in the world.

  • The Wind doesn't always blow, and the sun doesn't always shine, but the sea is always moving. 4 changes per day = 24 hour energy, and it is based off of Earth's rotation and the gravitational pull of the moon and has been reliable for millions of years. It doesn't get anymore reliable than that. I had this idea a long time ago. Took em long enough to figure it out. Environmental friendly and can be put underwater so it's not an eye sore. Why this hasn't been a major project yet is beyond me. It is literally everything we are looking for.

Remove the atmosphere/GHGs and the earth becomes much like the moon, a barren rock with a 0.1 albedo, 20% more kJ/h, hot^3 on the lit side, cold^3 on the dark.
